Advised route when traveling on the M6

Lleave the motorway at Junction 36 following the direction of Burton in Kendal on the A6070. After approxametly 3 miles you will see a Hotel called Clawthorpe Hall; turn left at the road parralell to the Hotel.

Follow this narrow B road upwards for 2 miles, at the top of the hill you reach a folked road with several turning's, take the road signposted Hutton Roof. About 200 yards down this road turn right up the road sign posted Kelker Well; you've reached the Holiday cottage
